Program This Week:
Tara Storch

“Outlive Yourself”

Tara Storch is first and foremost a wife and mom. She is the proud mother to three children – Taylor, Ryan, and Peyton. She's been married to her college sweetheart, Todd, for 32 years and they live in the Dallas, Texas area.

Tara is a marketing professional, award-winning author, and community leader. She and her husband Todd have been honored nationally for their impactful work of sharing the importance of organ donation. Together, they co-authored the award-winning book, Taylor's Gift, and were also recognized as “Heroes Among Us” by People Magazine.

Opening up about her journey of finding hope and purpose after the loss of their daughter Taylor, she speaks publicly across the nation with her powerful “Outlive Yourself” message.

Sharing her journey on Good Morning America, The Today Show, The Ellen Show, People Magazine, and other national and international media, she brings a message of inspiration and hope that is touching lives around the world.

We are honored that she will share her story with us this week, and I know you will be inspired by her powerful message.

Guests!

Wow - wasn't it great to have all the guests last week? I counted nine guests in total.

  • Three from UTD - Camp Kesem. Thank you BK, and ARF Board
  • Four from our building (Lana Hathcock announced our meeting to the building tenants)
  • Dennis Burns' 2nd visit - thank you Laurie Sutor!
  • Jeff Howard's 2nd visit - thank you Google!

Keep it up! More guests = more members = greater impact.

Photos from Our Thursday Volunteer Event at HUGS Cafe

How great is it to show up for a delicious free meal and have it count as a volunteer community service event? Addison Rotary was invited to serve as a test client audience for the HUGS students to cook and serve a luncheon meal last Thursday. It was good experience for the students and wonderful for us hungry Rotarians!
