Program This Week:
Bruce Arfsen
Addison Mayor

Having lived in North Texas since 1990, Bruce Arfsten considers himself a Texan, and since 2003 Addison is home. When he made the move to Addison in 2003, he soon discovered the significance of being an Addison resident. Like most, he soon fell in love with Addison and could envision being here very long-term.

Currently Bruce is a Real Estate Broker, licensed in Texas since 1993, and has been representing his real estate clients in the Dallas/Fort Worth region since that time. Prior to real estate he worked in the hotel industry, both in Oklahoma City and North Texas. This work history is where he learned what it meant to be “in service” of others. In 2009, Bruce began his work in the Training and Development field, doing contract training and workshops for in place teams, focusing on the areas of communication and human behavior/interaction.

Bruce has served Addison in various roles, including Planning and Zoning Commission, City Council, Charter Review Commission (twice), Bond Advisory Committee, and is a longtime member of the Addison Midday Rotary Club.

Working from his home office, Bruce spends a great deal of time with his sweet Chocolate Lab named Coco, his constant companion and lovable sidekick.

                Notes From David

Kristen Merkins is Our New Membership Chair!

Since Kristen already agreed to be our membership chair for next year, I asked her if she would be willing to start now and fill the recently-vacated position. She agreed! Thank you, Kristen!

And for the rest of us, we need to help Kristen achieve her goal of 6 new members between now and June 30. It's an aggressive goal, but we can do it!

Who do you know who should join us? Invite them to attend a meeting!

Thank You Letter From Guerrero Clinic

We received a wonderful thank you letter from the Guerrero Clinic (see picture). I am proud of our support and amazed at the work the Guerrero Clinic does.

Make it a great day!

--David
