Serving dinner at Ronald McDonald House Dallas is one of the most tangible ways we get to live out the Rotary spirit of service. While RMHD families face some of the most difficult days of their lives caring for a seriously ill child, our club gets to show up with something simple and powerful: a warm, home-cooked meal. We provide our time, our hands, and our hearts to remind these families they're not alone. It's a few hours of our evening that means everything to the families we serve. |

Aug. 28, 2026 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. UTC-05:00 |
International Plaza III | We were sons and daughters. Now we are friends joined together by a shared tragedy. We lost our mothers to a knock on a door. To repeat – a knock on a door. He shouldn’t have been able to walk down their hall and knock on their doors. We paid for oversight. We thought they were safe. They were not. We are wives, husbands, mothers, fathers, grandparents, sisters, and brothers. We are daughters, sons, nieces, and nephews. We are working so you don’t have to live our tragedy. We are Secure Our Seniors’ Safety (SOSS), founded when the unthinkable happened. A serial killer, indicted for 22 homicides and two attempted murders, murdered our loved ones in their residences for jewelry. Their stories live on within each of us, and are a driving force behind our continued pursuit for justice and safety. | View | |||||
